THE MUSEUM COMPLEX
The Bellport-Brookhaven Historical Society has a complex of several 19th century historic buildings on a 2-acre campus in the heart of Bellport Village. The Brown Building is the site of our office, library, archives and Pokorny meeting room as well as The Exchange Shop. The Barn Museum houses our collections of duck decoys, toleware, period dolls, sailing memorabilia and other material culture representing our local history. The Post-Crowell House, circa 1831, is undergoing restoration, and is open by appointment. Other structures include the Milk House, the 1850 Gazebo, the Blacksmith Shop, the Sailing Loft and the Pillory.
